Trip planning is so much fun with all the possibilities to choose from, honing in on the most desired, fitting all the stops into an allotted time period. For the last few years we've done big trips out of the country. This year, we're going to see several national parks I've never been to--Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Glacier. Hubby's been to all of them. When he was in his thirties, he bought a small motor home and traveled the country for 1 1/2 years. Some day I hope we get to do that together.
We just completed all the arrangements. Now we wait with eager anticipation for Memorial Day weekend, when we depart. The excitement prior to a trip is almost as good as actually getting there.
What are some of your favorite vacations? Mine is still the time we went to Europe for six weeks after I graduated from college (at 56 years old). Despite recovering from a fractured ankle, we went to 11 countries.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit. Hope you enjoy your stay. I blog here on Monday and Tuesday. This blog was created at the time my memoir came out, in February, 2009. Its motto was: creating a life of inner peace and self-acceptance from the depths of despair.
