I love the word vivacious, don't you? Doesn't it conjure someone who is outgoing and fun, and energetic and charismatic, but not overly so. Too much of these things can become obnoxious, someone who is trying to garner all the attention. But one who is vivacious is just naturally so. Their inner spirit of joy just shines through.
Do you know any vivacious people? I have a few in my life and just adore them.
Blessings,
Karen

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit. Hope you enjoy your stay. I blog here on Monday and Tuesday. This blog was created at the time my memoir came out, in February, 2009. Its motto was: creating a life of inner peace and self-acceptance from the depths of despair.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if people called me vivacious (although I'll fully admit that I can tip over into the annoying side of it at times!)
Love the word, I know a few and they impart in you a 'can do' attidude, like little tonics, blessings Amanda

I've been accused of vivacious energy before!
Angeline, wish it was a photo, not a cartoon altho' the cartoon is adorable.
Amanda, yes they do.
Diane, yup I'd definitely consider you vivacious.

I've crossed path with a few vivacious people, and what I find is that their energy has a wonderful way of staying with me in such an inspiring way.
I admire vivacious people, but can never aspire to be vivacious myself :)
Joanne, yes,it kind of hits everyone around them.
Damyanti, I don't think it's something we aspire to--it just is in some people. I'm sure you are wonderful just the way you are.

I love that word as well as people with it as a quality. I agree with you that it is either something we have naturally or we just do not. Not sure which people would refer to me as...vivacious or annoying...maybe a little of both? :)
Vivacious makes me think of Viviene in Rebecca Well's popular Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.
Tracy, me, too
Tamara, yes, that character was definitely vivacious and a few other things as well.

Love that word too! I shot a wedding last Fall of a friend of mine that is naturally vivacious. It was the most fun photo shoot ever!
I love that word and love seeing people who can be described by it!
Yes. They are usually the life of the party.

Vivacious people infect others with happiness. I think their auras are yellow. I don't see them myself, but one of my characters does. Funny--if you remove 'va' you get the opposite: vicious.
Now, I've found my way to return the call.

Such a good word! I know a few people who could fall into that category, and they can be exhausting sometimes! :)
Hello, Karen! There are many vivacious people in my life. They enrich my life and I'm blessed to know them!

Someone once called me vivacious, which quite surprised me, as I'd never thought it applied to me!
My wife is vivacious for sure and that is a good thing yeah.
My wife. Definitely not me today.
Vivacious is a great word. It's even fun to say.
I have known a few people that I would term vivacious. It's a good word.

I am lucky to be in company of a few such friends.
