Girls Just Want to Have Fun

I am having fun these days doing girly things. I never did them in the past. I was overweight and had a very poor self-image, so I didn't pay much attention. Now, I'm buying lovely outfits and getting pedicures. I never thought I'd say this, but I am finally enjoying being female. And being me.

Did you ever wish you were someone else?

I didn't appreciate being female til I was in my 20s. Live it up, lady! Make up for lost time and roar like the woman you are! :)

Mmm...no, probably not that I was someone else. I've wished that I had different traits and qualities, though.

Karen that sounds like a blast! It's a good thing to celebrate being a girl sometimes...something which I've been attempting to do more of myself.

Have I ever wanted to be someone else? Yes, I used to wish that all the time. Then I realized that being me was a good thing.

I found I've got more girly when I started my current job as a fitness instructor - there was something about wearing tracksuits all day that made me want to wear make-up! Whatever the reason, enjoy it :-)
