Alex's Top Ten Movie Blogfest

Loved Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Splendor in the Grass, West Side Story, South Pacific...wow, I've actually seen all of these movies but Marigold. That's the best I've done on a movie list so far! I'll have to check Marigold out.

and West Side Story, all great movies. I haven't seen Lincoln yet but have heard good things. This blogfest has made my 'movies to watch' list explode. :D

Oh yes Karen, I loved a lot of those too. Had forgotten a couple. Westside Story is hubby's all time favourite. Just remembered The Green Mile which I liked very much too.

I've only seen about a third of those or so... I really liked Officer and a Gentleman, which is a good thing since I lived in a house with women who went gaga over certain actors. :)

I love the oldies that made your list - e.g., West Side Story and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. It's fun seeing everyone's lists and feeling like there's so much I need to watch or re-watch.

Nick, Splendor in the Grass was Warren Beatty's first film. It also starred Natalie Wood. It is a love story set in a time when "good" girls didn't go "all the way" and the angst that resulted between these two characters.

I've been wanting to see Marigold. Great cast! I have seen many of the movies you list--West Side Story, South Pacific, and Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, I saw as a kid. Dad and Mom loved South Pacific! I liked Star Wars too!

I wanted to get here sooner but this has been a 12 hour day that started at 7:30 this morning at work with all sorts of technical problems. ugh.
