Monday Musings: The Amalfi Coast of Italy

This was my third time in Italy. The first time, I was 50 years old and it was my first trip to Europe. I didn't ever think I'd get to Europe and was convinced that it would most likely be my last. On the first trip, we went to Rome, Venice and Florence. On the second trip, we went to the medieval city of Sienna. This time, we went to the Amalfi Coast. This was high on my bucket list - to see Sorrento and Positano and go to the Isle of Capri to see the Blue Grotto. Here are some pics from this portion of the trip.

We had 1/2 day in Rome before flying to Romania. Rosie had never been there so it was a whirlwind to make sure she saw the biggest tourist attractions.

Home at last

June hiatus

I am taking the month of June off from blogging - traveling most of the month - to the Amalfi Coast of Italy for a few days, then on to an ethnographic folk dance tour of Transylvania with a bunch of friends.
